Name: Samuel Barnett

born: 1980

Sam is a very accomplished stage actor. He trained at LAMDA, and his theatre credits include; The Marriage of Figaro (Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester), The Accrington Pals (Chichester Festival Theatre) and Frankenstein (Open Air Theatre). Recently he played Pantalaimon in His Dark Materials at the National theatre directed by Nicholas Hynter in the sell out adaptation of Phillip Pullman's books. He reprised his role as Posner for the film of Alan Bennetts new play 'The History Boys' and has won plenty of awards individually and as a member of the production of the stage version (which went to Broadway ). In 2001 he had a role in The Inspector Lynely mysteries and a recurring role as Doddington in BBC1's Strange. He also had a role in 'Mrs Henderson Present's'.
