22 year old Steven started his acting career when he was eight as Tiny Tim in a stage version of 'Scrooge' at the Liverpool Empire.

He went on to star in many plays and ended up being offered a place at Sylvia Young Theatre School. He played the token child in a few television programmes. Then in 2000 he got the part of William Constant in The Magician’s house and reprised the role for a second series. He was still making cameo’s in Holby City and The Bill. After quite a considerable break from theatre he starred as Dalton Chance in 'The Trestle At Pope Lick Creek' , a play written by award winning playwright Naomi Wallace. Steven received fantastic reviews and was nominated for 'Outstanding Newcomer' at the Evening Standard Awards for his performance. To top that off his next theatre performance was  Michael Grandage's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. He has appeared at the Royal Exchange Twice in 'Kes' and 'On the shore of the wide world' which went to the National Theatre. He has just finished as as 'Posner' in the touring cast of The History Boys by Alan Bennett, which after two tours and a time at the National closed at The Wyndam's theatre in April 2007. In between THB tours he performed in Jean Genet's The Maids.
